I'm a first year arts student doing a double major. I'm looking at the rest of my degree and if I do all the required core units and selective units for my majors I still have 4 semesters where I have room to put an elective or OLE units. Is it better to do one or the other?

I was just wondering if there are any repercussions from getting simple extensions? I know they are computer approved but is there any chance of anything negative happening by getting multiple simple extensions in a semester across classes? I doubt it, but just wanted to be safe.
