Window opening clearance requirement for range hood
Hi, we're redoing our kitchen and want to put our first floor range hood exhaust 2' laterally from a second floor double hung window. Code says 3' clearance and I've got well over 6' (on the diagonal)_ but I've heard it also needs to be 3' laterally. Does anyone know if that's true?
