I'm am soon going for my visa appointment to apply for a Schengen visa to Italy and I am quite stressed as l've had a previous visa refusal for the following reasons:
- the information submited regarding the justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not reliable.
- there are reasonable doubts as to your intention to leave the territory of the Member state before the expiry of the visa.

So for my new application I plan on presenting the following, please let me know if this is more strong enough for someone is a young student:
- Schengen visa application form
- host declaration
- letter of invite/host from my half brother
- Residence permit of host
- Flight itinerary
- 30 000€ travel insurance
- cover letter: includes itinerary, acknowledges previous visa refusal and family ties to return to South Africa
- university enrolment letter with recess dates that shows exactly when I need to be back
- Title deeds
- 6 month bank statement
- passport
- passport sized photos

For my previous application, I did not include, title deeds, recess dates and itinerary and cover letter.
The host letter from my half brother was quite weak as well as it was short. Now that I'm planning on strengthening my application, do I have a chance of approval the 2nd time around ? Any tips on improving ?

I’m applying for my Schengen visa to Italy from South Africa. I’m a student so I don’t have a job nor income, the money I managed to save up was derived from inheritance. I am planning to present R13 000 (€660-670) for a 6 day trip and providing my 6 month, bank statement from my savings account. This amount excludes my flight tickets, travel insurance and accommodation which has already been paid for. Is this considered to be sufficient to the embassy ?

Hi, I recently applied for a Schengen visa to italy that had been refused. My reason for refusal was reason number 10 and 13. Also, one of the requirement for the visa application was that I need to either provide proof of employment or proof of enrollment at a university in which I did but still gotten a refusal. I know have booked a new date to reapply at the embassy and I’m taking some time to reflect and consider what made application weak and how to strengthen it. I have never been to Europe before and I was planning to visit my half brother whom I haven’t seen in 3 years since he moved there. What are ways I can strengthen my next visa application after a previous refusal as a student ? Any tips please from people who have been approved before, would greatly appreciate it, thank you
