





A little "Then and Now" of the Leipzig Battlefield.
Slide 1: Reference: Probstheida battle 18-10-1813
Slide 2: The original church where was fought around. See slide one. The church was destroyed in the battle and rebuilt in 1818. \*\*(Sidenote, notice the smoking windows in the painting, you can match them with the windows on the church on the picture)\*\*
Slide 3: As realistically as possible as I could get to recreating the painting.
Slide 4: Diorama which shows the burned church tower and an interesting house on the left of it (circled in red). The diorama was made by experts who tried to make the diorama layout of the village as real as possible. Out of the 35 houses (1813) in the village, only 4 remain in 2026.
You can match the house on the left of the church on the diorama with the house on slide 3. (Left)
