Hi , I'm in the UK
All this started in the beginning of January , I went for a routine appointment to be examined ready for a hysterectomy due to a prolapse . While there the gynecologist spotted changes ( friable cervix, white , thick visible skin all over cervix ) , I bleed daily .
Unfortunately my hospital gynecology dept is swamped so I was actually seen by an outsourced gynaecologicist, I then had to wait to see a gynecologist from my hospital before they could go any further , because of hold ups and mistakes I wasn't seen until march and I've only had my biopsies under general anaesthetic today .
They found 2 slightly enlarged and "changed" lymph nodes in my right side pelvis( n the MRI I had 2 weeks ago ) and all the surgeon gynecologist would tell me us that it all looked suspicious and he wants the results in 2 weeks or less . I feel numb, alone ( I can't talk to family as I'm trying to appear okay so I don't worry them) and so so anxious . All this has been going on over 3 months and I'm at my wits end , I have one family member j can speak to but I try not to , they're amazing and understanding but honestly I don't want to keep burdening them .
