OK liner notes for Volume 21:
170: Ren face when she jumped dookie was apparently popular (no surprise there)
After that interaction he did bring her Japanese sweets to her room lol. She then makes him lie down and uses him as a seat to assert dominance.
Chapter was used to showcase the "NPC's" individuality (i.e. Jenna/Emma)
171: Jakkun laid traps along the corridor but Ren blew them away lmao. Himari confirmed to be acting as reinforcements/cavalry if shit goes south.
172: Talking about match-ups and how Ren/Taikyoku and Joryuu/Fubuki was easy to predict.
173: More talk about how to include fanservice and finding balance. Easy with Yakumo as all he has to do is show her lewd thoughts lmao. Idea for Yakumo/Varv combined move came from some game he really liked.
Tenka is taking on Shikoku cause she's the only one that can counter her space abilities. Konomi's there as close combat specialist and Tenka's gonna be the 🧠 of the fight lmao.
174: Yakumo's X move based on a wind manipulating character from SJ (Black Clover maybe as he says the move can only be used in a game?)
Followers in human world can spread Jakkun curse (does it matter if she's dead lol) and Taikyoku's minions will keep recovering as long as she's alive. They've apparently gotten stronger.
175: Taka made a big sacrifice not having lewd in this chapter 🙄
Yakumo basically went full power and because she's usually never serious that's what made this moment stand out. Original plan was to do this in the Cathedral and Varv basically went "don't worry Kyouka san will protect me" 😑

176: Naruhime is a talker. If she'd know the enemy abilities ahead of time she might've also revealed her own.
He apparently uses an old fashioned pronoun for her when she refers to herself.

Joryuu would've killed most characters with one hit except Bell and a few others. Naruhime and Joryuu have full power forms but they can't maintain it for long so they're waiting to use it when time is right.
178: Ryu guarding entrance. Tobera flashback to her arguing with government people. Chapter dropped 2 days before Fubuki birthday apparently.
