How are you finding MTG lots before they get picked over?

For people here who buy MTG lots, specs, or restock singles from eBay, what are you using to keep up with new listings?Ive been trying to get faster at checking mixed lots lately, but it gets messy quick. I’ll usually use TCGplayer for pricing Card Kingdom buylist to sanity check liquidity, eBay saved searches for basic tracking, and Ubuyfirst for the part ebay feels weak at, catching new listings quicker and going through the photos/details faster before the lot is gone.

The hard part is not just finding listings. Its deciding fast enough if the cards have real demand, if condition is clear, if shiping kills the margin, and if the seller missed value or just priced it corectly. Are most of you still doing this manually, or do you have a better system for sorting through eBay lots before the good ones are gone?

How do you avoid hesitating too long on underpriced listings?

For the resellers here how do you balance moving fast with not buying a problem item?Ive had a few listings where the price looked good, but by the time I checked condition, seller history, mising parts, shipping, comps and posible issues, it was already gone. Watches are what made me think about it because one missed detail can kill the margin, but I’m sure it applies to plenty of other categories too.

Do you use a checklist, only buy in categories you know well, or just accept that some good deals will get missed?
