(F23) The beginning of this year I started having heart palpitations. Went to a cardiologist because my primary refused to see me. Cleared by cardio after 2 months, they didnt find anything and refused to draw labs after requesting and said to see my PCP. My PCP drew labs and it said my ferritin was 6 and my TIBC was high. My HGB was normal. My PCP is reccomending to just increase dietary intake and said I would be okay WITHOUT supplements. They scheduled to see me in 4 months to repeat labs.
Has anyone else's Dr only prescribe increasing dietary intake with ferritin this low?
I started developing shortness of breathe and dizziness as well but my PCP said all of these symptoms would not show up with my current labs.
