Wrong UK eVisa Start Date – No Response After Error Report
I received my UK eVisa recently, but the visa start date is completely wrong. They gave me a visa starting from 29 July 2026 even though my language school starts on 6 July and my flight ticket is for 5 July. I have all my documents including my school acceptance letter and travel details.
On 22 May, we submitted the official eVisa error correction form on GOV.UK. After submitting it, the website said “Request sent”, but it has been almost a week and I still haven’t received any confirmation email or any update on my eVisa.
Has anyone experienced something similar with wrong eVisa dates and no response after submitting the correction request? If yes, what happened in the end and how long did it take for UKVI to correct it?
I’m starting to get worried because my travel date is getting closer.
