New here and the idea is to get permanent residency. Doing my research as this is part of a long term-refuse to come back to the (former) United States.

Currently in Seattle WA.

Having paperwork apostilled, Costa Rica is first for business reasons, 2 weeks. Then bounce out.

My questions because I'm not seeking a job.

  1. Language immersion in Heredia. Any recommendations?

  2. Mountain views outside Medellin or Bogota. Any locales that are not suburban or gated communities?

  3. Immigration attorneys you've personally worked with? Have a couple names.

  4. Day to day living cost estimates. Everyone is different, but on average is what I'm attemptin for numbers.

My idea is to bop around each for 30 - 90 days between the 3 before moving on to Asia or Europe.

Countries that are Hard No for me: India, UK, Morocco, UAE, Australia, Armenia, Italy, France.

Primarily want "Lived" experience.

Thank you.
