I recently sent some bug bounty reports for some companies like Bugcrowd and genuinely do it for the sake of interest, I still haven’t received any results from it but wanted to ask this question in case I do. I have gained no income from it and I am an international student at the university of Arizona. While trying to research this I made the mistake of asking chatGPT and it said yes I can(this was over 5 months ago) and I did further research to find its a grey area, I’m scared and don’t know what to do because I compared them to hackathons where prizes are won. Please respond kindly and honest as I know I did not make the best decision but want to know if I’m in trouble.
