Do I adjust the sales floor counts (onhands) when running live freight?
So I’m about 3 weeks into working stock 1 at Walmart and today was my first time ever running “live freight” and it was kinda confusing to say the least. I understand that the system thinks that everything on the pallets we’re running is considered already on the sales floor until we make backroom case labels for them and scan them into the bins, but I’m having a hard time knowing if I need to be adjusting the sales floor counts when something doesn’t go on the shelf and is considered overstock. I’ve asked and some of my associates say you do have to adjust it and others say you don’t. So my question is when we’re running live freight, do I adjust the sales floor count if it says there is less than what I’m counting on the shelf, topstock, and what’s in my hand like how I normally would when running picks or do I just leave it and not change the counts. I know we don’t adjust the sales floor onhand if the count says it’s higher than what I’m seeing. If anyone can just tell me what we’re supposed to do I’d Appreciate it a lot.
