I'm getting back into Warhammer after years of not playing.
I have an idea that I think would be cool and is aparntly good with the lore. I use to play space wolfs. But dark kraken called my name this time.
I don't know what number company it would be? Ideas will be welcome.
I was thinking about playing on how kraken where grayshields and trained and fought side by side with other chapers.
The company will be the sea wolfs. A blend of kraken and space wolf tactics and a lot of space wolf kind of tropies. Making pilgramages to the space wolf homeworld for hunts and training.
On our planet there are packs of wolfs that live on the coast that pick the beaches clean.
That's how this company will act. Decending on the tails of battle cleaning the leftovers and if there is non being then be the riptide that draws the prey into the mouth of the beast of the kraken.
A little bit of back story.
The captain Keo iron pelt was a grey shield in the Indomitus Crusade. He was saved by a space wolf during a almost suicidal mission. As a life debt he learned the way of the wolf and persued the way of the kraken. Being the way of the deep but the monster that is in it. He is calmed to be a Maverick or crazy but loyal to the krakens and the emperor.
A lot of the models will have pelts and such on them and a lot of tyranid parts.
I was thinking an assult heavy list. What would be recommended.
