IG-SRT side effects
I started IG-SRT last week for a BCC on my forehead that I had put off for over a year. They said minimal side effects. Redness and itching in the area like a sunburn, possible hair loss on my hair line.
There must be something wrong with me though, because after the first treatment I was very dizzy. Second treatment gave me the worst headache I have ever had in my life. Today I talked to the radiation tech and she said this is extremely uncommon, and even if I were to get these side effects it shouldn’t be for a couple of weeks.
Today, 15 minutes after session, headache dizziness and nausea. Am I going crazy?? Has anyone else experienced this? Should I stop? I’ve got 5 kids to take care of, I chose this because it was supposed to be easier.
Help please. If this is common enough and tech just doesn’t know that, then that’s one thing. But if this is not supposed to be happening then i need to know.
