Built a minimal, focused on real-time global radio and atmospheric signals. Makes an incredible console for studying/relaxing.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a passion project I’ve been coding called Wavefront. It’s a hyper-minimal, web terminal that aggregates decentralized radio streams, ambient frequencies, and shortwave signals from around the world in real-time.

Instead of standard playlists, I love leaving this running on my second monitor in the dark while listening to low-frequency static, space telemetry, and distant global broadcasts mixed with my own lo-fi tracks.

If you want a clean, ambient background console to leave open while you study or chill, check it out live here: https://wavefront.acuitylab.me

Would love to know if it fits your vibe!

Built a real-time global signal and shortwave intercept terminal (Looking for feedback!)

Hey everyone,

I’ve spent the last few weeks building a high-fidelity, dark-mode terminal dashboard called Wavefront, designed specifically for aggregating and monitoring global radio frequencies, shortwave signals, and utility station streams in real-time.

I wanted to move away from the clunky, legacy web interfaces we usually see and build a clean, command-line-inspired UI for signal mapping.

- Live Subdomain Deployment:

You can check out the live terminal interface here: https://wavefront.acuitylab.me

- What I’m Looking For:

I’d love to get your brutal feedback:

  1. What missing telemetry data fields or signal parameters should I add to the primary interface?
  2. Are there specific open shortwave/HF data directories or dynamic streams you recommend integrating into the pipeline next?

Drop your thoughts, bug reports, or feature ideas below. Cheers!
