I haven’t been diagnosed with any autoimmune diseases yet, but based on my positive ANA and symptoms the doctor (rheumatologist) prescribed a Depo-Medrol shot (80mg) to try to do a diagnosis based on response to treatment, as so far we have not markers of specific autoimmune diseases. Has anyone here taken this shot before? What should I expect? I’ve only ever heard of people taking this shot for things like acute extreme allergies, which I don’t have. Has this shot helped anyone in this subreddit? Did it help anyone get diagnosed and treated? Any information would be helpful, thank you!
