Hi

Ive been on a waiting list for the last 18 months for sedation to extract all my top teeth. Somehow my dentist messed up the referral and when I complained they all of a sudden started booking me appointments.

Im now having impressions done for my immediate dentures on Wednesday and the extraction on the 22nd but I am on an emergency list in case of any cancellations

My concern is I am going on holiday with my adult children and 6 grandchildren on the 4th June. Will it be too soon after extraction? Should I delay it until im home?

Im not worried about eating but will I still be in a lot of pain?

Edited to add i do only have 8 top teeth left to be removed so hopefully the pain wont be so bad
