Cold calling after hours

If trade companies close around 6 Pm, is it a bad idea to cold call after they’re finished work, or should i always be cold calling when their business is open, and also is weekends a bad time to cold call, should I just be doing calls on weekdays and prep on weekends.

New agency advice

Confused on what I should be using my weekend time to do as I can’t cold call businesses on weekends, I run facebook ads for businesses, I closed my first client last week, still need to setup the ads for him but he needs to make the account first which he will do this week, confused on what I should be doing on weekends so I don’t feel like i’m not doing enough with my time.

Question To agency owners with success

This question is to agency owners who have found success with running their own agency by themselves, gotten clients or scaled there business etc, How many of you guys are self taught as in learnt by yourself, and how many of you guys worked in an agency prior to learn the skills then started there own? Because in 2026, I feel that there is so much information out there, and AI can literally guide you that it feels not as worth it to go work for an agency now.

Starting up an agency at 17 years old

I’m talking to a discord community, and they are saying I should go and get a job at an agency first then run a business, is this smart and worth it? Can i run my business on the side while working for the agency? Is running an agency at 17 with no experience actually doable or do i need to get a job at an agency first is my main question.

Help landing first client/How much work I should be doing? (SMMA)

So I started a Agency last week, I run facebook/google ads for local construction companies specifically Concreters, I then link a Automated Booking/Quoting system I built, I currently am struggling mentally about how much work I should be doing/If i’m doing enough to succeed. I am currently trying to get in 40-50 cold calls a day, while also making sure my system is good. People on social media boast about having to do 12 hour days, 100 cold calls, 200 emails sent otherwise you won’t succeed? Is that true, or should I just get comfortable with cold calling and stay consistent everyday until I land my first client then expand to other outreach niches. Sm1 help pls
