Hello Aviators,

I recently found out that US ATC issues multiple landing clearances to Aircrafts on approach, v/s other countries where landing clearance is issued to the immediate aircraft on approach and the remaining planes are given ‘continue approach’.

Is there a reason why US ATC does this anticipated clearance and other countries don’t?

What do you as a pilot prefer?
