I need basic knowledge!

Hi everyone,

I’m currently someone who’s been thinking of pursuing nursing. I’m in CA and seeing all the new grad nurses who have been struggling here is sort of scary. But also how competitive RN programs are here. As of now, I have most of my prerequisites for nursing programs finished. I just need physiology. However, I’m now considering LVN programs. But my only concern is if and when my prerequisites will expire for RN programs of I do end up doing LVN first. Does anyone here know the general rules of LVN programs or LVN-RN bridge programs?? Any information would be appreciated. I’m in the LA area.

Radiology technologist in LA

Hi everyone!
I’m 22, I recently have been thinking of applying to both nursing AND radiology technology programs. Although as of now I’m leaning more towards radiology tech and feel more hopeful for it. I’m fairly new to the career and all the research I’ve been doing for programs here in Los Angeles have me overwhelmed! I’m planning on making appointments with counselors to ask more info. But I guess I’m here to ask how you all see the job market and pay for radiology technology, specifically here in LA. I’ve seen mixed results about it and want to hear for your rad techs out here! I’d appreciate it. Also I’d appreciate if you shared your timeline on how you got accepted into a program here! Thank you guys.
