How to fix Battle Royale without ruining the Metaverse

Epic, here is exactly how you can bring back the "Prime Fortnite" feeling and keep your old-school players happy, while still keeping your new game modes:

  1. Protect the Battle Royale Identity: Keep the LEGO, Rocket Racing, and Creative modes for the players who want them, but stop letting them distract you from the main shooter mode. Clean up the main menu so it doesn't look like a messy clone of Roblox.
  2. Build a Chapter 1 & 2 Hybrid Map: Scrap the over-complicated new island shapes. Give us a permanent map that captures the bright, clean art style and iconic locations of the early days.
  3. Fix the Matchmaking: Make matchmaking strictly based on true, equal skill levels. Stop forcing average, casual players into lobbies with hyper-competitive pros.
  4. Remove the Bots and Overpowered Gimmicks: Take out the low-skill, wall-piercing lasers, and indestructible vehicles. Bring back the classic loot pool (classic Pumps, ARs) where winning depends on aim and strategy, not unearned mechanics.
  5. Revert the Movement: Change the movement mechanics back to the fluid, responsive feel of Chapters 3 and 4.
  6. Tone Down the Crossovers: We love collaborations, but only do them once in a while so they feel special again, instead of feeling like constant corporate advertisements. If you do this, the core community will come flooding back, and you still get 😁
