Just picked up the Stanley Kubrick Blu-ray collection for about $22. As someone who’s watched hundreds of movies, it’s crazy to think that the only Kubrick film I’d seen before was The Shining.

I just finished watching Barry Lyndon, and I’m honestly blown away by the visuals, story, soundtrack, and overall quality of the film. It might already be one of my favorit movies of all time. It’s incredible how beautiful a movie from 1975 can look.

I’m really excited to watch the rest of Kubrick’s
filmography for the first time. I feel like I’ve got a lot of amazing movies ahead of me.
