So I just had surgery on my back (disc issues) and I’m trying to figure all this out. How are you guys actually staying functional on this stuff? Like when i’m on my meds even if they help the pain a bit, I just feel drained and useless. Can’t even do basic things sometimes, like cooking or even taking a shower, I just want to lay down It’s not even just being tired, it’s like zero motivation + brain fog + heavy body all at once I work and also have normal life stuff to do, errands, groceries and I just take kratom 7oh when I actually need to get stuff done cuz like it gives me the pain relief without making me sleepy but I just don’t really want to rely on it every single day, even though I know a lot of people do. After that though I’m kinda stuck again trying to figure out a balance. Like do you just push through on the bad days or plan everything around when you feel slightly better?

I’ve been trying little things like spacing tasks out more, not stacking everything into one day, taking breaks even if it feels dumb but it’s still hit or miss. Some days are just terrible for me no matter what

How are you balancing this? Like how do you stay functional without feeling completely wiped out all the time?
