BQA NCIS
Unfortunately just got the email stating my NCIS application will not be considered for further processing.
Email didn’t go into specifics but only stated “The Naval Criminal Investigative Service has a very limited hiring posture and there are always more qualified applicants than there are vacancies.”
I did just take the magic box less than a week ago but the administrator informed me that I passed. So I guess I wasn’t competitive enough:
Experience:
- applied under SAA 3.8 CJ Bachelors
- 7 years active duty Army Officer (4 as Infantry, 3 as Intelligence)
- No deployments, lots of management, admin and planning experience
- Southern Border Mission “deployment”
Timeline:
- February 2026 Applied
- April 2026 Interview (Passed) ✅
- June 2026 Polygraph (Passed) ✅
- June 2026 BQA notification ❌😔
