Need opinion on whether premium processing is worth it for my H1B extension.
My situation:

Working full time on H1B
PERM filed on 01/22/2026
H1B extension filed on 03/21/2026 under regular processing
H1B 6-year maxout date is 09/30/2027
No travel plans currently

My main concern is Texas driver license renewal while H1B extension is pending. I’ve heard mixed experiences with Texas DPS accepting receipt notices.

Did anyone in Texas face DL issues with regular processing? Is upgrading to premium actually worth it in this situation?
