About mods...

So i made a patch to fix something that really annoyed me.

I wrote up a whole post about it and then after i clicked post it warned me that one of the rules is about disallowing modded game files...

The wording to me makes it kinda iffy, like does it mean modified files in the sense of cracks, cheats and the like, or does this also include just fixing a bug.

Compilation of things I've found while digging in the games files

Just digging around in the games files again, just seeing what i can edit and find.

Turns out the "Tower Keepers" are classified as enemies.

Tower keepers, as in The Blacksmith, The Guilder and The Artisan.

"Dungeons\Content\Actors\Characters\Enemies\TowerKeepers"

There's also a data table referencing an "Endless Struggle" and it's difficulty curves. I can't figure out exactly what it's referencing internally, could be an early version of the tower, could be an endless mode they were working on or something.

We all know the Dummy at the camp has infinite, or a lot of health. Turns out it has exactly 1E+09 health (1 billion health i think), and also has infinite health regeneration at all times.

Those are all the interesting enough things i found just digging around for the last hour or so.

Here's to hoping that Dungeons 2 has mod support so i don't have to hope and pray that the thing i want to edit is actually editable with the tools i have (Looking at you protection... it's one of the numerous enchants that has its values wrapped up in a function somewhere that i can't edit)
