Mortgage appeal & completion timeline

Am in the process of Part Ex my home and purchasing a new build. All been relatively smooth so far and searches are even back. Then boom a problem with the mortgage.

Developer accidentally put on the valuation paperwork an amount that took me over the 5% incentives allowed. This has since been removed and my broker is appealing my mortgage.

Problem is I’m supposed to complete in 2 weeks and 3 days!!

I don’t know how long an appeal like this should take? It didn’t indicate any issues otherwise, it was just that one error in the document .

Should I be looking at a back up mortgage plan?
