Genuinely so excited for the next few weeks, of colder weather ❣️❤️

Have you noticed an uptick these last few weeks, of more aggressive and violent elderly patients? The last 6 weeks we've had more aggression and physical assaults that l have seen in my eight months at this ward. Just for transparency, I am a nqn, so is this normal 😭

I work on a busy gastro ward and I found on my shift three DTIs and one c2, escalated and all the nines but the last five nurses recorded skin intact. I'm worried for my colleagues as they're friends of mine, will they face disciplinary as it lidge looks like copying and pasting of the skin assessments and no skin assessments have been done.

I would like an answer, as to why everytime a NQN is complaining about being unable to find employment. It's deemed racist to say we should prioritise British?

I need some advice I work for the NHS on a busy care of the elderly ward, where everyone and everything is short staffed. The last 7 months, every shift I have gone on bar 5? Have been 1:8, at least two patients needing 1:1, but due to lack of NHS money the nurse and HCA have to battle it out between stopping a risk of falls, ect... I'm fucking burn out and I want out, but there's no jobs ect ect ect 😭 just want to add this is my first job since qualifying 😭😭😭 as a NQN.

This is the moment the Somaliland government, needs to put up or shut up. Demand recognition, and show that the reasons for is because of the politically unstable Somali government and the infighting.

Please give me advise, my UK GP is refusing to send me for an iron infusion, my HB is 115, ferritin is 29, and iron is 7. Despite me saying I have failed at supplementing for 7 months, and also deep exhaustion and fatigue. I don't meet the criteria for a referral please give me tips for my upcoming appointment to push for an infusion
