YouTube monetization rejected for “reused content” even though I add commentary and voiceover
My YouTube channel was recently rejected from monetization because of “reused content,” but I’m confused because I believe I’m following the guidelines.
For my videos. I edit the footage, add my own commentary, and use my own voice throughout the video.
I tried to appeal, i showed my whole process and a proof that i am the same guy on the videos and that appeal got rejected as well...
For context, this channel got monetized 5 months ago, but it got hit with reused content after a month. To be fair, that was probably justified at the time. YouTube then gave me 3 months to fix my content, and I did.
However, I didn’t delete the old videos. I only made them private. Could that be the reason why my channel is still being rejected?
Also, is there any way to contact YouTube about this issue?
