2020 Kia Optima EX 2.4L instead of a 1.6L Turbo
I purchased a Used 2020 Kia Optima EX back in February and have been happy with the vehicle. I now have to do some work on the engine and have noticed that the car's engine is a Theta 2.4L GDI engine and not the 1.6L Turbo. From everything I've found, all 2020 Kia Optima EXs use the 1.6L Turbo and my local Kia Dealerships are certain there has been no Engine swap performed on the car by them or any other service centre.
I also see that the car comes with Smart Cruise Control Standard which it does not have.
I also have some service documents that says the car has a 1.6L Turbo engine, but others that says it has a 2.4L (These ones have a higher odometer, but still no engine swap listed).
The car was manufactured in the States and is now in Canada.
When I purchased the car it was advertised as having a 1.6L Turbo so I'm very confused, any additional insight would be appreciated.
