Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to teach project management
Hey all!
I'm keen to get some feedback on a plan I've been putting together and thought this community would be a great place to ask.
A bit of context. I'm a project manager with 10 years of experience, working fully remotely with pretty good work-life balance (flexible hours and every second Friday off). So I've got a bit of breathing room in my schedule.
I'm considering enrolling in the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with the goal of eventually teaching project management-related course (e.g., BSB40920 Cert IV in Project Management Practice or the BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management) on a sessional/after-hours basis.
So I'm thinking to:
Do the course after hours (looks like ~12 months)
Find an RTO in Melbourne that delivers PM-related courses and offers evening or weekend sessions
Pick up sessional work as a trainer on the side while keeping my day job
Has anyone here done something similar? Any experience or advice would be much appreciated!
