I went to the supermarket in my traditional garments when a white women commented on pants saying they were pretty and she would love to have a pair of them. Later on that evening I noticed that my pants started to tear from the bottom. My mother immediately blamed it on the white lady's "stare" on my pants. Even though I do not believe in that aspect of evil eye, I believe that evil eye is a way of blocking negative energy from others.
