Hello I'm a 16 who got diagnosed with l5 s1 disc buldge due to which my sciatica is getting irritated been 7 months ruined my 11th I'm thinking of getting a surgery but my parents (my mother is a doc and she is worried that there may be complecations) are against it I also got a epidural steroid injection which barely helped my only is problem is prolonged sitting in college and in home for longer hrs I tried so many things I lost around 13kg did PT for a month still there was no improvement I also live in India and preparing for one of the hardest exams called NEET I have that exam in 11 months . So is surgery a good option
