When to be concerned?

I posted about my King earlier today on this sub but It wasnt allowing me to put this video. He does this whining for so long even when he is laying down, we will still hear a silent groan. Today is day 4 out from the 7 grand mal seizures he had Friday night. He’s still adjusting to taking the Phenobarbital with his Keppra aswell. Im a 17 year old F and its been difficult seeing him so helpless. Everyone says that he will adjust eventually but my biggest fear is that what if he never adjusts? What if this is just him now? How do we navigate life from here on out? I want to help him while also taking proper care of myself. If anyone has any advice at all, Id appreciate that greatly. ❤️

7 grand mal seizures

Hey all! I have a 6 year old pitbull named King who has been diagnosed with Epilepsy for about 5 months now. He has his first seizure in January of 2025 and had 3 total in that whole year. He started on Keppra in January and so far overall it was working very well. He only had 2 seizures while on it and one was due to a medication mix up. Recently on 5/15 , He had about 6-7 grand mal seizures ( One in which his tongue went blue) in the middle of the night which lead him to the emergency vet. The emergency vet prescribed him Clorazepate to
take for a totally of 3 days and they add Phenobarbital onto his regular dose of Keppra. It has been the hardest few days ever. He is extremely restless and will whine for so long. He paces, he pulls extremely hard outside to the point where he is hurting himself. Today is his first day off the Clorazepate and Im very scared that we will not see any improvement because so far he really hasn’t improved. If anyone has any advice or similar experience, I would appreciate it greatly because Im helpless at this point. Its a very difficult thing to see and my nervous system is shot from all the stress. 😊
