i finally beat crossroads :D
my dad is a big gamer and he really likes open world games like elden ring and crimson desert. i've never really been into video games besides whatever gacha game is trending. i wanted to bond with him though, so i proposed we play a decision game and landed on dbh.
anyways, i don't play video games at all, so i was (am) honestly really really bad at all of the "fighting" parts of the game. despite my dad being a gamer, he sucks too. i gave him the controller in a panic and he was button mashing during the eden club fight!! i'm not really familiar with the controller, but me and my dad wanted to play on experienced mode.
i fully understand that the gameplay is meant to be mind numbingly easy, but i've basically never held a ps controller before or played an actual video game. so during my first play through of crossroads, markus, josh, AND kara died because i was so bad at the fighting scenes.
i really wanted to get a good ending though, so i redid the chapter starting from markus in the corridor over and over and over again (my dad did attempt it and also failed) until i just now FINALLY GOT THROUGH THE CHAPTER WITH EVERYONE ALIVE!!! i'm so happy haha i just wanted to share my triumph! now i can continue the story with my dad and argue over which decisions to pick.
tl;dr: despite how easy this game is supposed to be, it took me a really long time to get through the crossroads chapter with everyone alive and i finally did it!
