I've learned the kings Indian for black and stone wall for white, i originally learned them because I can play them into anything and it carried me too 1100 blitz rapid and bullet. My stone wall is very good but my kings Indian keeps getting worse the futher I climb.

My question is how do you practice an opening you can only run if white opens a certain way? What do you do when they dont open that way? Just have multiple openings you learn at once?
