[1 YoE, Data Analyst Contractor, Junior Data Analyst, USA]

I recently recreated my entire resume with help from ChatGPT using a Microsoft Resume template supposed to help with ATS reading and entering for online submissions.

I am attempting to land a career role in the Data sector as a junior analyst, or any type of analyst really. I am interested in operations and have experience with the operations side of things as well as contracting experience doing data analysis, but nothing that pays good or is stable. I intend to apply local and remote. I'm not willing to relocate.

I strongly feel that I have some good skills although I don't have public projects on git to back them up (NDA for the independent contractor role) and think my previous resume was holding me back from everything I applied to.

I feel good about my bullet points accurately representing my skills and duties and accomplishments, but am definitely open to criticism if it seems bad.

My primary reasons for posting my resume is to get feedback on

  1. Whether my font is bad/hard to read

  2. My overall formatting, but specifically the use of bold for the titles/company names being on top and the dates being beneath. The resume template originally had them flipped and I didn't like it.

  3. I have a small skills section. I figure my skills and technologies are explained decently specifically throughout my resume in how I actually applied them, then I added an explicit skills section at the bottom at recommendation of GPT also. I ran out of room on my resume.

  4. Does my Education/bottom section look bad?

  5. I welcome any and all criticism. Thank you for your time. I just want to get this right. If anything stands out to you at all, please feel free to tell me. Thank you
