Can't decide between TrimUI Brick Hammer and RetroDroid Pocket Classic

I am not really a gamer, but I do enjoy playing classic retro games every once in a while.

My heart tells me to go with the TrimUI Brick Hammer for its compact design and simplicity. I also like the fact that it comes with its own custom firmware as I am not fan of android as gaming console, and I don't want to spend a lot of time tinkering with settings to get games running smoothly.

However, I really like playing DreamCast and Nintendo 64 games, and I know for fact the TrimUI is going to struggle with it. Also, I heard battery life on the RetroDroid Pocket Classic lasts twice as much as on the TrimUI Brick Hammer, if not longer.

I'd really appreciate your feedback here. Which one do you think I should go with?

Will I have to spend a lot of time tinkering with each emulator settings in order to get games to run smoothly on Android?

Is there some sort of app that optimises the device (RetroDroid Pocket Classic) for every emulation console?

Is there a launcher or something that upon unlocking the device you are in the gaming menu instead of the classic android experience?

Thanks
