I had a 24’ S3 and I loved that car. It had plenty of power and it was a lot of fun to drive but I knew that when my lease was up, I was getting an RS3 100%. Then I hear the news that Audi was going to stop making the 5 cylinders and with it the RS3. My local dealership just so happened to order the exact spec that I wanted. I ended my lease early and paid extra, and got myself my dream car. My thinking was that as production slowed down and allocations became more scarce, there would be dealer markups and I wouldn’t be able to get the spec I wanted. Maybe I should have been more patient and saved some money, but I am very happy with my choice.
