CFA Level 2 Experience
I just finished my exam 30 min ago and I’d like to share my experience. So I thought the exam was overall in line with the mocks, but the first session felt very hard because it touched specific topics that I didn’t review and completely forgot about it.
Session 2 was much easier for me, but there were still questions where I was im doubt between 2 alternatives. I don’t know if I will pass, I feel less confident than I was for Level 1.
I flagged around half of the questions in each session, but I flagged everything that I had the slightest doubt, even if I was 90% sure. It feels like it will depend on luck.
About the test center: they didn’t provide water (on CFA Level 1, they did) and the pencils were not sharpened well, which bothers me when writing. Also, I arrived 30min earlier and they asked me and the others who were early to start the exam early. I had planned to eat a sandwich during that time, but I couldn’t.
My advice for the ones who still have some time is to do the EOC questions for the modules that you need to review (based on your mock results). Don’t rely only on mock questions. Also, sleep well and make sure you eat enough before the exam.
