Summer leaves or at least that’s what I think the book was called
I’m looking for a book. It was called summer leaves I believe and it was about a little girl having to go stay with her aunt who was kind of strange and she would write or call her brother who was in some facility and she met friends at her aunts and lost her virginity I think
I think her parents may have gotten in an accident or divorced. And I think the brother was in a mental facility or a disability they were both young and the grandma was weird and there was a man that would chauffeur the girl
Over grown gardens where the man wasn’t really a chauffeur but he did take the girl to the aunts. I think the family was rich and the aunt stayed out in the country and had a helper who got her groceries and stuff because she could take care of herself but needed help. The girl stayed in the basement of the house and made friends with the neighbors kids.
