Stormgrotta 2 vs X-Lite Nomad Duo

Hi everyone,

Do you know any differences between the two? They look almost identical.

Has anyone used them?

The Stormgrotta costs £250 and the Nomad Duo £375 but is currently out of stock.

The Stormgrotta is slightly lighter and has a smaller internal space. Aside from that, I can’t see any other differences.

Any insights or experience with them would be great.

My biggest question, which I suppose no one could answer unless they’ve used both in windy conditions, is which is less flappy internally during bad weather.

Ps, if there is a video comparing them I would love to see it, I can’t find anything on YouTube so please share.

Would this be ok to cook on?

I cut back a few trees on my garden last year (I’m in the uk).

They have been stored like this for around a year, would these be ok to cook with?
They are from 3 trees, pear, plum and peach trees.

I was in planning on burning down to embers and cooking with them. Would you recommend I chip them into chunks?

Thank you in advance!

It worked! Cooked a perfect lazy afternoon bbq! Cheers guys!

Homemade Nando’s

What would be the best way to make Nando’s style chicken on a bbq? I have a Webber but I’m not very experienced with it.

Would you pre-cook the chicken and then finish on the grill?
I was even considering boiling it first for and even cook or maybe an overnight brine?

Any advice would be helpful! Thanks

Updated: it worked! lol! Photo below
