Possible Fake Armored Mewtwo Giveaway – Be Careful
A few days ago, a user hosted a free Armored Mewtwo giveaway and asked people to guess a number from 0–1500, I guessed the correct number, and was told that I had won
Since I didn't have Armored Mewtwo registered, the host explained that we would need to build friendship for 30 days to reduce the Stardust cost. He confirmed that I won and said he could set one aside for me until the trade was possible
To be honest, this was my first time ever winning a giveaway, so I was pretty excited and had my hopes up that I'd finally get an Armored Mewtwo
However, after adding me on Pokemon GO, I was removed from the friends list the next day, When I asked about it, the host said it was a mistake and that he would add me back, I sent my friend code again, but since then I haven't received any response despite a follow up message over several days
I'm not trying to start drama or falsely accuse anyone, but from my perspective, the giveaway has not been honored and there has been little to no communication after I was told I won.
I'm sharing this experience so others can be aware and so the host has an opportunity to explain what happened, If anyone else participated in this giveaway, I'd be interested to hear about your experience as well
