Mild Pain 2 Years After Inguinal Hernia Mesh Repair (9–10 mm)

Hey everyone,

Back in 2024, I was diagnosed with a small left & Right inguinal hernia with a defect measuring around 9–10 mm, and I later had mesh repair surgery.

Most of the time I’ve been fine, but even after 2 years I still occasionally feel discomfort after intense gym sessions, especially on leg day.

Last week I pushed myself harder than usual, and since then I’ve had mild testicular pain for about a week now. It’s not severe, but I do feel discomfort when jumping, making sudden movements, or moving too aggressively. Sometimes it feels like stretching or pulling around the mesh area.

There’s no major swelling or extreme pain, but the discomfort is definitely noticeable. Just wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced similar symptoms this long after inguinal hernia mesh repair, especially related to workouts or heavy lifting.
