Palace Acquire/PAQ
Im needing advice on the PAQ hiring process. My fiancé & I will be relocating to the Eglin AFB end of June & I’m trying to figure out a timeline & how soon I should apply for certain jobs. We will be getting married mid June so hopefully MSP will give me some type of advantage in the hiring process.
I have my associates & bachelors in political science & im currently working on my masters in business with a finance concentration. I’ll be finished with my courses for my masters June 27th but my degree conferral isn’t until July 7th.
While I’ll have my masters soon I don’t have a lot of work experience & im scared that will lessen my odds. I plan on applying to the logistics management specialist position under PAQ. I know I should wait until after marriage to apply just to ensure I can use my MSP but will that even make a difference? The job opening is open to students & recent graduates but should I wait until degree conferral.
I’ve worked on a base before in the deli but now that I have my degrees I’d much prefer to start my career. I’m just a bit confused on how to & if I should start now. I’m from a very small town in MS & job prospects are super low & hard to come by so this would kinda be my first professional job.
I know PAQ offers training & internships so those job offers would be my first pick.
