Hi all!

Like the title says, I am travelling to Bangkok this summer and I was wondering a few things.

For context, it will be my girlfriend and I (both early 20's) and we will be in Bangkok for about 8 days in the middle of July.

1. Should we pack rain shoes and/or a rain coat?

I've heard the rain can be pretty unpredictable both in duration and timing and figured we could just make do and buy umbrellas once we land.

2. Does anyone now what Markets / Shops / Brands / Malls that we would be able to find traditional 100% cotton or linen thai fisherman pants?

I read online that they are very cheap in Thailand but have heard mixed things about how easy it is to find them.

3. What are the best restaraunts locals recommend for traditional Thai dishes and food?

We want to avoid the tourist trap restaraunts and try some Thai dishes that are hard to find authentically outside of Thailand
