My dad 68 years old is going to start radiation therapy , 8 weeks. What is it to be expected as energy level, being able to drive and live normal life during this difficult time. I would like to hear from people who went through it and have some advice on what to expect and how to minimise side effects.

My dad has prostate cancer T3N1, he underwent surgery in February and now will have 8 weeks of radiation . We are planing 10 days trip to a beach vacation,3.5 weeks after his last session .would it be ok for him to travel on 5 hour flight and spent time at the beach?
Also is it ok to skip two- three days during radiation and add it at the end , he has to travel to another city for work? My mom is super worried and thinking that we should cancel our trip while dad wants to go, seeking for advice?
