Graduate Studies UofC GPA Calculation
I’m a little confused about the UofC applicant manual regarding graduate GPA calculation.
I’ve finished the first year of my master’s and currently have 6 graded credits (my program IS course-based and I do have 18 graded credits in my first year but the second year I will have less than 18 due to practicum/passfail classes). I want to apply this cycle, and I’ll be fully done my master’s by May next year.
I’m wondering: when I apply this cycle, can I use those completed graduate credits to substitute my lowest undergraduate grades under the graduate GPA substitution rule, or do I need to have fully completed my second year / finished the entire master’s before I can use my graduate grades in my GPA calculation?
I’d really appreciate any clarification!
