Sacred Submission
Sacred Submission
Dear God: What a strange and complex place,
Where most are lost within the flesh’s chase.
They believe the body made only for mating,
And spend their years in restless, hollow waiting.
I thank You for the gift of higher thought,
Yet wonder what this heavy spark has brought.
Is the only path to simply yield and fall,
To find Your love and give You back my all?
Why weave a world of such profound confusion,
Where every choice seems born of some illusion?
I hold a billion questions for Your ear,
But mostly crave to see conclusion clear.
I’ve walked the roads I carved with my own hand,
Only to find crumbling in the sand.
There is a height we cannot climb alone,
A magnificence no human heart has known.
So step within and reveal Your hidden face,
And fill this tired spirit with Your grace.
I’ve seen the end of serving only "me"
Forever choosing the Will who sets this Soul free.
