Upcoming interview at Big Pharma
I’ve a potential interview coming up for a senior scientist position at a big pharma. I have postdoc experience. I fulfill most of the criteria for the job description and bring some niche skills that probably help me stood out ( I directly got in touch with HM on LinkedIn and bypassed recruiter screening ). In the skills section ,I wrote a couple of techniques that I understand well theoretically but haven’t personally used or have any expertise. I’m freaking out now thinking what if they ask and how should I respond. I feel really dumb now because I don’t think I would have put those if I’d known I will end up talking to HM on LinkedIn. What’s the best way to deal with this situation. I’m quite good overall and have a great profile otherwise. Any advice from senior people who went through r&d positions ? Does the panel go through every single thing on resume ?
